When Bobby DeMuro and NoFizz America put forth the first challenge of giving up ‘fizz’ for 30 days, I had already given up soda, pop, fizzy drinks, and even beer. But when the second challenge, the 60 at 60 Hydration Challenge, was announced, I was curious to see if I was actually comsuming enough water every day. I exercise frequently, and I always make sure to have a bottle of water nearby, but NoFizz America’s challenge is a great way to be sure I am staying hydrated and meeting my goal each and every day.
At the start of the challenge back on September 1st, I had just completed a 21-day vegan cleanse where I had to forego all caffeine, alcohol, and sugar; water had already been my drink of choice for the past 3 weeks. I was interested to see if I would meet NoFizz America’s hydration goal once I could resume my usual morning coffee (which is now decaf only!) and my wine with dinner, as well as the other fruit drinks I have on occasion.

Thus far, it’s been easy for me to stay properly hydrated! A couple of days of the days during the challenge, I didn’t have access to water throughout the day due to a meeting or another commitment, but I made sure to make up for it during the evening hours so I could hit my 60 ounces.
I love that NoFizzUSA puts these challenges out there to inspire and motivate people in the Carolinas to try and live a healthier lifestyle. I am looking forward to seeing what the next challenge is, and I can’t wait to finish this one strong!
