I am a former United States Marine. I learned very quickly while stationed in very hot climate areas that your life literally depends on drinking lots of water. As a matter of fact, while I was in boot camp, they required every Marine to drink at least six canteens of water every single day. Based on the canteen size, it comes out to roughly 192 ounces of water, each and every day – including 32 ounces mandated right before bedtime! Hydration was crucial then, and it’s crucial now.
I took NoFizz America’s 60-day hydration challenge solely because I believe that the consumption of water is the most important part of getting healthy. Trust me, there is such thing as “skinny fat.” Just because you go to the gym and exercise does not necessarily mean that you are in good health. Water is the number one source of cleansing and weight loss, and helps with detoxification with your liver and kidneys.
NoFizz America is doing something really beneficial here for the Carolinas. Drink water as if your life depends on it – because it does! Your body needs water! I’ll leave you guys with one last tip that I have found helpful for my life – drink water in 32-ounce intervals. It’s great for your body, it’s great for your health, and it’s easy to track, since many water bottles come in roughly 32 ounce servings.
