Lisa Ray

Lisa Ray, an executive news producer for ABC 12 WJRT in Flint, Michigan, shared her NoFizzUSA hydration story with us during our Radio Exiles podcast this week.
Her story, which is both funny and compelling, really highlights some of the problems many of you have faced in the past – that your work and life schedule can often get in the way of your best health intentions, no matter how much you try to stay on track.
In her story, for example, Lisa details how difficult it was for her to give up soda and energy drinks, as she works many overnight shifts in preparation for morning news shows and stories. Because of those overnight and bizarre hours, she needs to stay awake at unnatural times, and has unfortunately relied on drinks like soda and energy drinks – that she knows are bad for her body in the long run.
You can listen to her story here. You can also follow Lisa on Twitter here.
What about you? Do you have trouble with work, leisure, or family hours that make it difficult to stay on a particular health schedule or plan? How does your work life affect your health?
Remember to catch our podcast every Thursday on Radio Exiles, where we will be discussing different health challenges, topics, and issues with various guests and more!
