My decision to get involved with NoFizzUSA was an easy one. After all, I love a challenge! I hit the gym every morning – and I look forward to it! While I was pretty sure that I was drinking enough water, the hydration challenge definitely makes you keep track of your intake. It puts it all into perspective for me. Proper hydration is HUGE for everybody – we all can benefit from drinking a little bit more water. And the NoFizz America approach is a great idea, making it realistic and consistent for the city of Charlotte, and for the Carolinas.
Also, drinking water at the correct times of the day has its benefits. Drinking a glass or two of water before meals helps your digestive track, and it dulls the appetite a bit so you don’t overeat. That was definitely noticeable for me early on – I had much less of a desire to overindulge after drinking a glass or two of water before meals. It also lessens your cravings for snacks and junk foods, which is always a good thing!
NoFizzUSA encourages you to keep track throughout the day of every ounce of water you consume. That structure is very helpful for our busy daily lives. Everyone loves to challenge themselves to improve, and this makes a game out of it – all while getting healthier and becoming more aware of what your body needs.
The benefits of hydration are instantly rewarding. I would recommend everyone to get involved with NoFizz America and learn more about healthy hydration! It is fun for me to read on Twitter how people are doing during the day on the challenge. Other people’s experiences helps remind people to go drink another glass of water, or go plan my next ounce. This is the most inexpensive form of self-improvement ever, and I love it! Thank you, Bobby, for introducing the NoFizzUSA movement to Charlotte and the Carolinas. You are the man!!
